A single dental CT scan uses an effective radiation dose of 1-2 mSv (millisievert). This dose is 2-3 times the radiation received during a transatlantic flight. MyRay devices offer up to a 40% radiation reduction compared to traditional CT scans thanks to their low-dose technology. According to Mayo Clinic data, this dose has not been epidemiologically proven to pose a cancer risk.
