Will there be any discomfort when the prostheses are first fitted?

When a full denture is first fitted, there may be some mild discomfort as the mouth adjusts to the new denture. This may include soreness or irritation of the gums. However, over time and with adjustments by the dentist, this discomfort usually subsides and the denture becomes more comfortable.
